Waldringfield SC - Waldringfield SC: Wayfarers

Wayfarers have raced at Waldringfield for more than 20 years and now the Club probably has the largest fleet of regularly racing Wayfarers in the UK. The number of entries for the Spring, Summer and Autumn race series in 2004 was typically 16-20 boats, with 10-12 boats racing on any Saturday in the season.

Boats sailed vary from the still very competitive 47 year old Wayfarer no.33 to some of the latest boats on the water, demonstrating the value and longevity of this class.

As well as the racing, around a third of the 30 or so Wayfarers at Waldringfield are cruisers, enjoying the relatively safe waters and attractive setting of the River Deben.

Any member of the Grafham Wayfarer fleet that wishes to participate in this event is asked to make contact with Douglas Butler

Please make sure you have a working road trailer! Check those lights!

See this link for accommodation ideas in the Waldringfield area.

Please pay the entry fee at Waldringfield on arrival. We will as usual be collecting donations from all involved for our adopted charity:
